Terms of use

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of My Salary Calculator at mysalarycalculator.app (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What the site is

The site offers free calculators and guides that estimate take-home pay, tax, social security, student loan repayments and pension contributions for typical employees, country by country, using figures published by each government.

2. Not financial or tax advice

Nothing on the site is financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Results are estimates based on the details you enter and on simple assumptions listed on each country’s sources page. Your real tax depends on your full circumstances. For your own position, use your government’s own tool (each country’s pages link to it), or ask your tax authority or a qualified adviser.

3. Not official

The site is independent. It is not part of, linked to or approved by any government, tax authority or other public body, such as HMRC in the United Kingdom.

4. Not payroll software

The site must not be used to run a payroll or to work out the deductions an employer must make.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not try to disrupt, overload or break the site, or get around its security.
  • Do not use bots or scrapers to copy the site’s content in bulk.
  • Do not present results from the site as official documents or as coming from a tax authority.
  • Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

6. Content and ownership

Tax rates and thresholds are public information published by each government. All other text, calculations, code and design on the site are our own work and protected by copyright. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. You may not copy whole pages to other sites or products without our written permission.

7. Ads and other websites

The site will show ads and contains links to other websites. We do not control those ads or sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

8. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is error-free, complete or right for any particular purpose.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update the site and these terms. When we change the terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
